commissioning a cake
For
celebration
cakes (including birthdays, anniversaries, christenings, novelty, etc.)
I usually need a minimum of a week's notice. For wedding cakes
please allow at least one month before the required date but this is
just
a guideline - the best advice is to get in touch as soon as possible!
sizes and portions
This is a rough guide to how many portions you can expect from
different sizes of sponge-type cake (for fruit cake you get double
the number of portions):

payment and delivery
Payment
I accept payment
by cash or cheque. If you'd prefer to pay by card, I can also accept
payments via Paypal. I'll advise you of any details regarding payment
at the time of ordering.
Postage
Simple cakes can
be posted for a small fee.
Collection
If you're
local
you can collect your cake but I'd advise against this if
the cake requires complex assembly at the venue.
Delivery
I'm
based in Esher (north Surrey) and can deliver your cake to you or your
event location within a reasonable distance. A small charge will apply,
please contact me for further details.
allergies and special requirements
Cakes can be made
gluten or nut free and organic ingredients can be used if required. I'd be happy to discuss any other special
requirements you might have.
